Missouri in May

Alright the summer is over, our new townhouse is put together, I am feeling better, and I guess it is time to get caught up on the few things that happened to us this summer.
Our first big thing was a trip to Missouri to get together with all of Michael's siblings and parents for the yearly family reunion. We missed last years' due to selling our house and moving to Indiana, so we were especially excited to see everyone. We weren't disappointed. We were there for about 2 weeks and there were none stop activities. From making various crafts, playing on the trampoline, swimming in the pool, watching movies, going to the ice cream shop with Grandma, having picnics, going on treasure hunts, having a rodeo, Hull Olympics, a book club, just to name a few things, we were always having fun with the other 15 adults and 21 kids.

Emma getting ready for the rodeo

A benefit of being on a farm- milking cow contests and fresh milk everyday

Cow riding- Michael got first place...

With me at a close 2nd. - talk about an adrenaline rush

Emma had a good time helping grind up chicken feed.

Cousins!!

My kids had so much fun being able to play outside- we really miss our fenced in backyard.
It really was a fun family reunion. We are looking forward to next year and seeing everybody again. Thanks Hull's and Leavitt's for a fun and memorable trip!

WOW! You guys know how to have fun when you get together with family! Glad to hear you had a ball and were able to spend some time away from the craziness that school brings. Good luck with the new semester!
