First Visitors

If you don't count my parents meeting us here to help paint the house and get it updated, then we had our first visitors over Labor Day weekend. Michael's mom was flying into Missouri to watch Megan and Ben's kids for a few days while they headed on a trip. Somehow, though, we were able to convince her, Megan, Mandy, and 4 of the kids to come by and stay with us for a day.  They drove in late Sunday night, were here all day Monday and then left Tuesday morning. We were bummed that it was only a one day stay, but we were grateful for what time we had. We were able to have a really relaxing morning where we had pancakes for breakfast and stayed in our PJ's until sometime right before lunch. We then ate lunch, let the girls play to their hearts content in the playroom, fed the ducks in our duck pond down the street, had dinner at Red Robin, and ended the day with a short FHE by Grandma. Emma was especially sad to see them go the next morning, but I think was tickled pink that the whole family got to take her to the bus stop and wave goodbye, it made the parting a little easier. Thanks guys for coming and we hope to see you again real soon!
