Grandma and Grandpa

We were lucky enough to have Michael's parents come and visit us for a couple days the beginning of March. We are truly blessed with great family and are always glad when they can come by, even if it was for only a couple days. The unfortunate part of it all was that the weekend they were here happened to be one of the busiest weekends for us. To begin with Emma got sick, at first it was thought to be strep but luckily it was just something viral, Michael was in the heart of some big projects at work, keeping him there late, and I had to teach a class at our Women's Conference. Grandma and Grandpa are such good sports about everything that they just went with the flow. Actually, because Emma was sick she was able to stay home and play with Grandma more instead of being at school, Grandma was also able to help entertain the kids while I did dinner and other things to prepare for my class since Michael was working late, and Grandma had a lot of great advice to help with my class. So while it was really busy, they were a big help.

We did want to make sure that it wasn't just all work and no play while they were here, so on Monday (while Emma was still recovery from her illness) we made a trip to the Children's Museum to check it out. It actually was really fun, nothing compared to the one in Indianapolis, but then again nothing really can compare to the 6 floors of pure fun that is there. But for what they had it was fun. We were happy to get membership passes so we can go again.

Isaac at the dentist- Grandma and I really wanted to take pictures of Isaac doing this, hoping he will think the dentist is fun. Our last trip to the dentist's office did not go so well for him. 

This was my favorite spot- Mini Kroger- the kids got to go around and pick out groceries and then take them to the register and actually scan all the items and get a receipt! Super cute
